Tech Fusion Beam

The FB is a steady concentrated beam of super charged plasma particles kept in stasis via a strong projected electro-magnetic containment field. The weapons are slow to fire and slow to reach their target and have a long recycling time, due to the length of time it takes to regenerate the magnetic field and refill the Plasma Projector. Despite these flaws the FB is capable of dealing enormous damage, reducing a ship to a melted mass fairly quickly (though obviously dependent on mass). The primary defense against this weapon is the particle shield, which can disperse the plasma particles with ease.
