Assisted Longrange Rifle
This electromagnetic rifle fires the fearsome 12mm AV/AM class ammunition or "screwtip" round which can go through inches thick CCF. Officially named the 9R or "Niner", but more commonly the "Longblade". The Longblade has only six shots per magazine but does significantly more damage per shot than other infantry-issued long range rifles. The gun spools the round inside with an electromagnetic motor to create stabilizing forces for the round to ensure a very small MOA (minute of angle) and flat trajectory to impart maximum force after being launched by the magnetic coils. The ammunition is very limited, given the complexity of the round's design but offers significant benefits over the conventional anti-materiel round.
