The Sigurn-Fost C30i is one of the company's first ventures into man-portable anti-tank systems, given that there was a market opportunity for new contracts for private militaries and the ULA/AIA market. When compared to the MLI or the RID, the C30i is quite heavy, being a 30mm anti-tank weapon. For portability, the barrel retracts nearly completely into the weapon itself. Despite its weight, it is a very sought-after weapons platform, being potent, durable, and capable of jobs the other two competitors aren't. The magazine is gravity-fed, and the ejection port is spring-operated. When the barrel slides back and pushes the recoil buffer system, the spent case is ejected out the back flap. The massive muzzle brake is 3-stage to help alleviate some of the recoil and muzzle climb generated by the 30mm SATR. The weapon also has recoil-operated flash shields that will protect the user from any backblast. It uses smart gel in its recoil padding and has an electronic trigger on the left-hand foregrip.

While it acts like your typical 30mm cannon (shoulder-mounted is hardly typical), its round is what sets it apart from the C90 and other large caliber weapons -- the 30 millimeter Smart Anti Tank Round, which has an IFF-based proximity fuse. The round has a 1.4 KHz sensor that runs a check in a 2 meter radius around the projectile. When the projectile detects an enemy IFF with the sensor, it will detonate, sending shrapnel at extremely high velocities which easily perforate airframes and light armor. This allows the weapon to be fired over cover and detonate on hidden enemy vehicles. The reason the 30mm SATR round is used instead of a shaped charge is that the concussive energy from the round is distributed more evenly in an area, as well as the shrapnel. The IFF chip in the weapon can be tuned to pre-program each round once they have been loaded into the weapon.

This weapon shines against fast-moving light armored vehicles and mechanized infantry suits, and works quite well as an air deterrent.

The C30i also has a mech-mounted variant named the C30v, which serves as a sustained air deterrent or anti-vehicle alternative.
