The TS20 is a semi-automatic designated marksman rifle that fires the GAR AP Magnum round. It saves weight by using an electrical firing system and simplifies the operating mechanisms by using GAR caseless ammunition. Its barrel is a lightweight reinforced titanium alloy. It can accept a wide variety of optics and attachments, allowing it to fit any mission type the operator needs.
The ULA had posted a contract to fulfill and while the DK11 could support multiple roles, the DK11C precision rifle couldn't achieve the accuracy and minute of angle (MOA) that was deemed necessary to fill the requirements for the ULA's designated marksman role. Aeger stepped in and brought in a lightweight platform with finely tuned harmonics and a very low taper on the barrel, but saved weight by using more advanced materials and more polymers in the frame. The muzzle brake and recoil mechanism serve to improve accuracy with successive shots.
The most common magazine size will accept 8 rounds of the GAR AP Magnum ammunition.
