A strange looking vessel, the Khamun is a quick response fighter carrier. The fighter pods are easily visible at the back as protruding spikes almost. Although mainly meant for fighter deployment and not direct engagements, the Khamun class frigate is more than capable of defending itself against other frigates and fighters. this means the deployed fighters can attack other vessels and don't have to protect the Khamun.
The large fighter pods take the space normally reserved for the engines, which is why it looks like the way it does since the engine has now been mounted on top of the pods. Having only a small engine, the Khamun is treacherously fast because the bulk of the ship is rather lightweight, thought easily outmaneuvered by most frigates.
A different version of the same frame swaps its iconic fighter pods for ground invasion material, being able to drop off a contingent of troops and armour.
