Ship Station Sulawesi

Puerto Sulawesi is an enormous commercial station orbiting a milky-white gas giant in the `median <median.html>`_ `coreward <coreward.html>`_ sector of the `Polaris Concordat <Polaris_Concordat.html>`_, bordering the `Sidemore Republic <Sidemore_Republic.html>`_ and the `Star Kingdom of Mournecreek <Star_Kingdom_of_Mournecreek.html>`_. Its main role is that of a Polaran customs-house and trade center. However, there are large sections of the structure reserved for commercial vendors, fitters and other enterprises. It is also the location of embassies for the Sidemore Republic and the KMC. The observation deck on the planet-facing end of the station is home to the luxuriously appointed Boracay Hotel, and one can often espy diplomatic personages from across the League sampling the exquisite cuisine from across the galaxy on one of the space-bound resort's variety of simulated beaches, each complete with sky filtering which offers authentic wavelength lighting for working up one's favorite shade of tan.

Sulawesi Station is comprised of a main section, a vast bulk 34km high facing its tip toward the planet, its massive docking area - longer than the station is high, and a plethora of satellite structures housing fighter barracks, fueling, parking, accommodations and even agriculture.
