The GAD is a multiple flechette cartridge that typically is loaded with 7 flechettes (although modifications of the cartridge do exist that cram more flechettes inside) ASG-10. Is designed to deal devastating damage up close at the cost of range, as the flechettes are not fin-stabilized and are meant to spread out over distance. Chokes on the shotguns that utilize them can improve range by extending the barrel.
