Salier is an old-school Antarean arms manufacturer with personal commissions from the royal family dating back to the first empire.
A long respected smith of masterwork handguns and hunting rifles, Augmond J. Salier founded his company primarily to cater for the rich and leisured - original Salier weapons from the first Imperial era are almost incalculable in value and are much sought after. Famous owners of Salier weapons include Emperor Marius Lucan Andromedeus XIV of the AE, Hegemon of the Solesian Hegemony, famed outlaw Arim Sekh-Arim and Jorg Ondasil the late first husband of Yvette Edrasil who was a commander in the Taurean Guard Resplendent before his assassination.
In more modern times Salier has had to become more practical, working with the new AE military to produce reliable mass-produced firearms. The company is now a schismatic entity serving both civilian and military markets.
