The Hare is the ULA's light armored vehicle of choice. It won't achieve the same top speeds that the Silverback can, but it can carry more troops. It uses a lightweight composite for its armor to maintain speed, but isn't incredibly mine-resistant, it is primarily meant to defeat some small arms fire. The front is reinforced with steel and in some cases, is encouraged to be used against enemy combatants as a means of defeating them. It can carry up to two passengers in addition to the driver and gunner. The vehicle comes with a mine launcher, but some variants have been outfitted with means of deploying medical supplies or ammunition to nearby infantry, though not officially supported by ULA standards.
