The Solesian's ground force. It is the ground version of the Great Space Fleet, it operates as a security force at home and as a attack force during times of war. The Guard has the power of a police force. However, it is bound by the orders of the Hegemon and the law, it cannot act outside the government and is carefully controlled, because the rulers of the SH know that if there will ever be an effective rebellion it will come from the ranks of the Guard.
