Faster than it's ULA counterpart though not quite as sturdy, hover vehicles cannot climb steep mountains, but can float over low to the ground obstacles. The autocannon can chew up other Basta's, light vehicles and is also very good against flyers. furthermore its also very good against players because it kills light's and med's in a single shot.

Meet the Basta - the AIA's hovering armoured personnel carrier - faster than its ULA counterpart though not quite as sturdy. Hover vehicles cannot climb steep inclines due to the facing of the anti-grav (AG) panels, but can float easily over low obstacles. The vehicle generates momentum by vectoring the AG panels underneath it. The plasma autocannon can melt armored vehicles easily, and still functions quite well against infantry combatants. It comes with a computerized turret mount that will engage enemy combatants as well.
In a Basta vs turtle match you are more maneuverable and have to get away from the front of the turtle, then just fire with the autocannon until it has been destroyed.

In a Basta vs tank match you should half hide behind obstacles so that the tank will fire but hopefully hit the obstacle, just fire your gun till it overheats and fully hide behind something till it has cooled down again and repeat the cycle.

The Basta almost always outperforms the Turtle in maneuverability, but its reduced armor (a sacrifice necessary for the lift needed to move) puts it in a detrimental situation if it is engaged by superior numbers. It uses an expensive, lightweight, titanium alloy shell interwoven with ceramic composites and aluminum structure to support it. Despite using hover technology, the Basta still uses hydrocarbon fuels to operate with a powerful twin diesel generator.
The Dhaka is not always the best choice: If their is a Basta and a Dhaka available don't always choose the Dhaka since the Basta is better against infantry, has a 360 firing arc and is better against flyers. but the Dhaka does have a gunners seat and more armour.

Operators are instructed to use cover to their advantage to the best of their ability to avoid significant damage to the AG panels in the chassis, which would render the vehicle inoperable or irreparably damage it to the point it cannot be recovered.

The Dhaka is the Basta's larger cousin.
