System Antarean Antares

Antares – Capital system of the `Antarean Empire <Antarean_Empire.html>`_. The system contains seven worlds, on one of which is habitable. `Antares Alpha <Antares_Alpha.html>`_, the sole life-supporting planet is one of the wealthiest and most important worlds colonized in the third Exodus. `Antares Alpha <Antares_Alpha.html>`_ has been colonized for well over 400 standard years, during this time the capital city, `Antares Prime <Antares_Prime.html>`_ (locally known as Prime City) has come to stretch over one-hundred miles in diameter and is home to a population well in excess of two-hundred million inhabitants alone. Its twin moons, `Jukat <Jukat.html>`_ and `Rime <Rime.html>`_ , are heavily armed military installations.

There are over six-hundred satellite platforms orbiting both the planet serving both civilian and naval capacities as well the humongous Idaruka and Lesium Shipyards. The Antares system is a major trade hub and an important fixture within the sixteen inhabited worlds of the cluster.
