Capital Class Rail-Cannons (CCRC) are impressively large railguns that fire hypervelocity matter over long distances. Due to the fact that the CCRC is a kinetic weapon, it will pass through even the strongest plasma shielding and deal tremendous damage on impact. This classification contains some of the largest mounted weapons, and requires high amounts of energy (and is rarely mounted more then 2 to 3 to any ship smaller then the dreadnought class). The CCRC has the longest effective range of all kinetic weapons. | Capital Class Rail-Cannons (CCRC) are impressively large railguns that fire hypervelocity matter over long distances.
