Yearman aerospace is a small core-based shipyard with few of the choice government contracts of other larger ULP arms manufacturers.
Their most famous hull is of course the Orion class assault craft a ship that has been produced in greater numbers for more nations than any other assault craft. On this contract alone Yearman consolidated its position amongst the towering corporations of the galaxy.
Their forays into larger vessels largely constrained to civilian astrogation - the notable exception being the durable and well-proven Freya class support cruiser.
